Qualifications:
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- High School Diploma/GED
- Must be a United States Citizen
- Must possess a valid Virginia Operator's License
- Must be able to perform all requirements necessary for job performance such as climbing, balancing, stooping, crawling, pushing, pulling, visual acuity, hearing, etc.
- Be of sound moral character
Selection Process:
- Written Examination
- Oral Interview
- Background Investigation
- Conditional Offer of Employment
- Drug Screening
- Final Appointment from the Chief
